Manhattan High senior Colton Wagner is preparing for the upcoming 2015 Shrine Bowl that will take place on Saturday, July 25th at Fort Hays State University.

This past sseason, Wagner was a first team all league selection in helping guide the Tribe to a share of their sixth straight Centennial League title. He was the rock on the offensive line that helped the likes of Chris Martin and Erik Prockish to have fantastic season’s for the Indians.

Wagner will take part in an upcoming camp later on in the summer that will prepare him for the Shrine Bowl. The West camp will take place at St. John’s Military School in Salina and players will arrive eight days before the game.

The camps are described as intense and will help out in terms of the preparation for the Shrine Bowl. The Camp Director is Myron Converse, a past Shrine Bowl All-Star Player in 1982, a Shrine Hall of Famer, and Past President of the Kansas Shrine Bowl Board of Directors.

The West coaching staff features Junction City’s Randall Zimmerman. Wagner’s head coach will be Scott Moshier of Meade High School.
