A ribbon cutting was held Thursday for the Sears Hometown Store in Manhattan, located at 8055 East Highway 24. The Sears Hometown Stores are known for selling appliances and tools. The stores began in 2011 in Ottawa. Other locations listed in the area include Junction City, Emporia, and Lawrence.
