    Manhattan City Commission Candidate Receipts and Expenditures

    The following is a brief rendition of the recently released financial reports for the Manhattan City commission candidates.  All information is taken directly from documents released by the Riley County Clerk’s office.

    Linda Morse began with a $6,091.90 on hand balance before this reporting period.  According to the documents Morse received $7,520.00 from outside contributions, and spent $4,994.81 during this campaign cycle.  Morse received $733.46 in-kind contributions, and had a cash on hand balance of $8,617.09 at the end of this reporting period.

    Kaleb James began with a $0.00 on hand balance before this report cycle.  According to the documents James received $350.00 from outside contributions, and spent $464.70 on this campaign cycle.  James received $120.04 in-kind  contributions, and had a cash on hand balance of $0.00 at the end of this period.

    Micheal Dodson began with a $1,837.21 on hand balance before this reporting period.  According to the documents Dodson received $8,400.00 from outside contributions, and spent $4,327.52  during this campaign cycle.  Dodson received $466.00 in-kind contributions, and had a cash on hand balance of $5,909.60 at the end of this reporting period.

    Mayor Wynn Butler began with a $1,049.25 on hand balance before this report cycle.  According to the documents Butler received $6.360.00 from outside contributions, and spent $7,346.91 on this campaign cycle.  Butler received $694.17 in-kind contributions, and had a cash on hand balance of 62.34 at the end of this period.

    John Ball began with a $280.13 on hand balance before this reporting period.  According to the documents Ball received $2,460.00 from total contributions, and spent $1,979.26 during this campaign cycle.  Ball received $154.02 in-kind contributions, and had a cash on hand balance of $760.87 at the end of this reporting period.

    Jared McKee began with a $405.95 on hand balance before this report cycle.  According to the documents McKee received $800.00 from outside contributions, and spent $137.06 on this campaign cycle.  McKee received $0.00 in-kind contributions, and had a cash on hand balance of $1,068.89 at the end of this period.
