A large fire, starting from an electrical short, reportedly happened on Friday evening.Riley County Fire Chief, Pat Collins informed KMAN the fire went from about 2:30 p.m. until 8 p.m.
Wabaunsee and Geary counties assisted with the 300-400 acre fire. One home was threatened during the blaze.
