    Several Hundred Acre Fire Put Out Friday Evening

    Riley County Fire patchA large fire, starting from an electrical short, reportedly happened on Friday evening.
    Riley County Fire Chief, Pat Collins informed KMAN the fire went from about 2:30 p.m. until 8 p.m.
    Wabaunsee and Geary counties assisted with the 300-400 acre fire.  One home was threatened during the blaze.
