JunctionCityPoliceAs KMAN has previously reported, a couple of vehicle collisions occurred shortly after 7:30 a.m. Wednesday morning.  Although no major injuries, several vehicles were involved.
Junction City Police Chief, Tim Brown reported that a pick up struck a semi trailer on the 296 east bound exit ramp onto I-70.  This accident did result in the exit being closed for some time.
Brown said it appeared a few inattentive drivers attempted to look at the accident from the highway, which resulted in another accident.  An individual driving on I-70 was reportedly not paying attention when they changed lanes, and caused an accident with four more vehicles on the highway.  No injuries were reported, but two vehicles were towed after this collision.
