HOYS-4-15The Flint Hills Discovery Center Foundation named the recipient of their fourth annual Friend of the Flint Hills Award on Sunday.
The award goes to Jim and Cathy Hoy, who the Discovery Center describes as longtime defenders of the Flint Hills. Jim Hoy has worked as a consultant for the Discovery Center in the past, and the FHDC describes Jim and Cathy as “personally dedicated to the conservation and preservation of the Flint Hills”.
The purpose of the FDHC Foundation is to advance the mission of the center by soliciting and managing donations, facilitating named gift opportunities and recognizing donors.
For more information about the Foundation, visit flinthillsdiscovery.org.
