The Junction City Police Department wishes to alert the public and businesses in the
Junction City area of an increase in counterfeit currency being passed in the area. There has been
two incidents of counterfeit one hundred-dollar bills that were passed in Junction City this week.
It was learned that several counterfeit one hundred-dollar bills have also been passed in
Manhattan and Salina. We encourage you to examine closely any one hundred-dollar bills that
you come in contact with and if you believe that the bill is suspicious notify the Police and get a
good description of the subject passing the bill or tag number.
