As earlier reported on KMAN, Riley County Police officers responded to Allison Avenue in Manhattan Thursday afternoon for a citizen report of suspicious activity at a residence. Upon arrival to the area officers observed three male juveniles in the vicinity of the residence at 2727 Allison Avenue.
When officers began to approach, the juveniles fled the area on foot. Further investigation revealed the residence located at 2727 Allison Avenue had been damaged and burglarized.
The three male juveniles that fled the area were later located by police and arrested for burglary, criminal damage to property, possession of marijuana, and interference with law enforcement. The three male juveniles (age 16) are currently confined at the North Central Kansas Juvenile Correctional Facility located in Junction City.
