The Leonardville man charged with sexual exploitation of a child charges, after an arrest in Arizona, appeared in Riley County District Court Judge, William Malcolm’s courtroom on Tuesday afternoon for a status hearing.
John Thomas appeared in court via web cam alongside his attorney, Larry McRell. McRell stated he has a meeting with Riley County Police on Friday before he will receive the discovery in this case. For this reason, he asked that the case be set for another status hearing a couple weeks down the road.
Judge Malcolm set the case for a discovery status hearing on May 12th at 1 p.m.
