    Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff gives speech at K-State

    Today, the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff General Martin Dempsey met with ROTC candidates at Kansas State University to discuss the future of the military. He also served as the featured speaker at their graduation/commissioning ceremony today and is slated to make a presentation later this evening. General Dempsey has vast experience in training and warfighting on the modern battlefield as former commander of TRADOC and U.S. Central Command. General Dempsey received his commission in 1974.
