A first degree murder/child abuse case involving a Junction City man will be entering its fourth day Thursday. The state has been calling witnesses in the Christopher Lyman trial all this week, with more state witnesses expected to last though out the week.
Lyman was arrested in September of 2013 after an eight-month-old child was brought into the emergency room at Geary Communitiy Hospital, then transported by helicopter to Children’s Mercy Hospital in Kansas City, Missouri. The child later died.
The trial, which began with jury selection Monday, is expected to last two weeks.
