    – Rock Creek softball is headed to the 4A-Division two state tournament after beating Santa Fe Trail 10-8 and Royal Valley 3-1 in their regional yesterday. Blair Campbell won both games on the mound for the Mustangs, and Brynn Hammett drove in all three runs in the regional final against Royal Valley.

    – Manhattan High girls soccer cruised to a 10-0 win over Junction City in their regional semifinal. Cailey Perkins tied the school record for goals in a season (26) after scoring three more last night. The Indians take on Dodge City Thursday night in Manhattan for a trip to the state tournament.

    – Manhattan High baseball beat Olathe Northwest 2-0 but fell in the regional championship game 3-1 to Free State.

    – Wamego softball beat Abilene 8-3 but lost the regional championship game 4-2 to Hayden.
