Two highways in Riley and Pottawatomie Counties will be partially closed for bridge inspections. These lane closures are needed so that KDOT bridge crews can utilize the a special vehicle to safely inspect underneath the bridge decks.

The lane closure schedule for this week is as follows, weather permitting:

Northbound K-99 will be reduced to one open lane for both directions over Kansas River Bridge south of Wamego Thursday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Also, Eastbound K-13 will be reduced to one open lane for both directions over Tuttle Creek Dam Spillway Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Drivers should expect delays as Traffic will be directed through the work zone via a KDOT flagger operation, cones and signage.
