    Additional information has been released by Riley County Police regarding a fatality accident that occurred over the weekend.  George Davis, 19, of Junction City was identified as the second passenger in the vehicle accident that occurred in the 3200 block of Stagg Hill Road last Saturday afternoon at approximately 3:30 PM.
    Davis was transported to Via Christi Hospital by Riley County EMS for serious injury. The vehicle, a 2003 Nissan Sentra, was driven by Anthony Jones, 20, of Wamego. Jones was also transported to Via Christi for serious injury.
    As previously announced by KMAN, one of the passengers was pronounced dead at the scene and was identified as Cheyanne Higgins,18, of Junction City.

    A 43-year-old Manhattan man was arrested Thursday evening at about 5:30 by Riley County Police on a motion to revoke probation. Christopher Williams was taken into custody while in the 500 block of Moro Street.
    Williams’ original offense was battery on a law enforcement officer. Williams’ bond was set at $5,000.

    Riley County Police received a report of motor vehicle theft within the 2100 block of West 40th Avenue Tuesday evening at approximately 7:30 PM.Nathan Nelson, 40, of Manhattan reported that a Yamaha 350 Big Bear ATV was taken from a Kansas State University facility sometime during the past week.
    The total estimated loss was $3,500. Officers with the Riley County Police Department encourage anyone with information about this crime to contact the Manhattan Riley County Crime Stoppers.

    A Council Grove woman faces a $5,000 bond following her arrest Tuesday night. Riley County Police indicate Sherri Henson, 46, was taken into custody at the law enforcement center at 8 p.m. on three plus felony DUI charges.
