Two Kansas Department of Corrections inmates who have been serving time on convictions from the 1980’s have apparently been denied parole.

Terry Kirchoff, 49, was convicted for involuntary manslaughter in 1987, as well as criminal damage to property in Geary County in 1985, and aggravated burglary and rape cases in the early 1990’s in Lyon County. Public comment sesions which included Kirchoff were held in March. However, his current status as listed by KDOC indicates his earliest possible release date is May first of 2018. Kirchoff is currently being held in Norton.

Also part of the March public comment sessions was Tabor Adkins, 68, who was convicted for cases in Geary County in 1983 of attempted murder in the first degree, aggravated kidnapping, and aggravated sodomy. His earliest possible release date is now listed as November 1, 2015. Adkins is being held in Hutchinson.
