Despite Concerns, Flooding Won’t Drown out Country Stampede

Flooding at Tuttle Creek State Park

Soon it will be crowds flooding the campgrounds at Tuttle Creek State Park, as Country Stampede returns to consume the lives of music lovers.

The four-day event celebrates it 20th year in Manhattan this weekend, with a line-up that includes country music superstars like Blake Shelton, Florida Georgia Line, Travis Tritt, and Missouri native Sara Evans.

The increasingly popular event is sold out of VIP and reserve tickets. General admission passes are still available, along with several campsites if you’re looking for the complete stampede experience.

Recent rainfall and flooding has left many wondering if camping at the event would still be a possibility, but thanks to drier weather it seems that only a few campsites will be affected.

Sasha McVeigh gets the party started on the main stage tonight at 4 p.m., with Thomas Rhett headlining at 9:30.

The music festival draws to a close Sunday night with a performance by two time Grammy award winner, Travis Tritt.
