An attempt to stop a vehicle in Geary county for speeding led to a law enforcement chase Monday, with three Kansas City men ending up in the hospital. The Kansas Highway patrol reports the incident occurred Monday morning on eastbound I-70 at the Grandview Plaza exit.
A 2000 Audi driven by Arturo Molina, 20, fled after an attempt to stop him, and reportedly drove recklessly through traffic, with the vehicle exiting the interstate at the Grandview Plaza exit but coming to a stop after striking an embankment.
Also injured in the incident were passengers, Miguel Macias, 22, and Christian Cruz, 21, also of Kansas City. All three were taken to Geary Community Hospital. None of the three had seat belts on.
