    Officers with the Riley County Police Department arrested a Manhattan man on an out of district warrant for assault. Scott Barnett, 41, was taken into custody at approximately 10:50 PM Thursday while in the 2100 block of Fort Riley Boulevard.
    Barnett was arrested on a warrant for domestic related assault with extradition. The warrant originated in Morgan County, Missouri and carried a bond of $50,000.

    A Manhattan man faces drug-related charges following his arrest Thursday evening. Andre Quinton Jr, 32, was taken into custody at about 7:40 p.m. on possible offenses of possession of methamphetamine and driving while suspended. Quinton was arrested while near the intersection of El Paso and South Manhattan Avenue. Quinton’s bond was set at $5,000.
