    RCPD vehicles (better) 6-15
    Riley County Police responded to a report of a 19-year-old male found dead inside his residence. Officers went to the scene on Tuesday at approximately 6:30 p.m in the 1400 block of Beechwood Terrace.
     An investigation into the incident is on-going at this time, but preliminary reports indicate no foul play. No further details are being released at this time due to the ongoing investigation. Authorities are not releasing the name of the deceased man pending notification of relatives.

    More details were provided by Riley County Police Wednesday morning regarding an investigation of a possible explosive device. Tuesday evening just before 4:30 a citizen reported finding a possible explosive device in his back yard. The RCPD Bomb Team responded to the scene to investigate the item. The investigation revealed that the item was a legal commercial firework mortar round. The firework was disposed.
    Earlier reports were that the item was found behind a residence on Bertrand Street near the intersection of Manhattan Avenue.
