    An aggravated battery was reported early Monday morning, resulting in the injury of a Manhattan man. Riley County Police indicate at approximately 3:45 AM officers with the Riley County Police Department responded to an aggravated battery in the 1200 block of Moro Street.
    Officers found Michael Bogle, 26, had become the victim of a verbal argument which turned physical. Bogle was struck in the face leaving injury which required transport by EMS to Via Christi Hospital. These injuries are described as significant, however, non-life threatening.
    Officers continue to investigate the matter and at the time of this report no suspect descriptions were available.

    Officers with the Riley County Police Department filed a report for DUI, fleeing or attempting to elude a police officer, and reckless driving near the intersection of Juliette and Bluemont Avenues at approximately 12:25 AM today (Monday).  Chip Adolph, 34, of Manhattan was arrested as a result and bond was set at $7,000.
    Officers originally attempted to conduct a traffic stop on Adolph and Adoph’s vehicle after a traffic infraction was made. The vehicle initially fled from officers initially, but Adolph eventually stopped his vehicle several blocks from the original location of the traffic infraction.

    Riley County Police officers responded to a residential area near the central portion of Manhattan for a report of criminal damage to property and theft early Sunday morning. Officers found this investigation to be domestic in nature involving a damaged vehicle antenna and grill on a 2007 Dodge Ram 2500.
    Police also found a heavy duty ball hitch mount was also taken but it was later recovered. In total the estimated loss is approximately $1,400.  Due to the nature of this investigation no further information has been released. At the time of this report no arrests had been made as officers continue to investigate.

    Officers with the Riley County Police Department arrested Damian Donlon, 45, of Manhattan Saturday night at  7:10. Donlon was arrested while in the 3000 block of Tuttle Creek Boulevard for the offense of probation violation.
    Donlon was given “no bond” on this warrant which originated in Riley County as a result of a multiple DUIs.
