Officers with the Riley County Police Department arrested Edward Charles Cavenee, 30, Manhattan, at 6:45 p.m. on Friday at 1130 Garden Way. His charges include four violations of the violent offender registration act, it is his second offense. Cavenee’s bond is set at $5,000.

Also arrested on a $40,000 bond was Ramiro Flores Escamilla Jr., 32, of Manhattan. Escamilla was taken into custody at about 5:30 Friday evening in the 1000 block of Pierre Street. Four probation violations and failure to appear charges are listed on the Saturday morning arrest report. However a May arrest report indicates two violation of protection order charges, two domestic battery counts, and intimidation of a witness/victim.
