Manhattan Residents on the Customers in the north east side of town are experiencing a power outage. According to Westar Energy, the outage was reported shortly after five p.m. and just over 1000 customers are affected. A majority of the outage affects residents along Kimball Avenue between College and and Denison. Power is expected to be returned by 9 p.m.
