A driver received medical attention after a two vehicle accident in Riley County on Sunday night.
Twenty-nine-year-old Silvana Okanoviv of St. Louis, Missouri made a hard left turn through the median into on-coming traffic, resulting in her 2014 Volvo striking the second vehicle head on.
44-year-old Patrick Drewes of Lawrence was identified as the driver of the second vehicle, along with a seven-month-old passenger, Tegan Drewes of Wamego. The Drewes’ received possible injuries, but were not taken to a medical facility.
Okanoviv was taken to Via Christi Hospital in Manhattan.
All three of those involved in the accident were wearing safety restraints.
