    Two Die in Clay County Accident

    A double fatality car accident was reported in Clay County Wednesday.  Eldon Hartley, 61, of Miltonvale and  Kattie Hartley, 30, also of Miltonvale died in the crash, reported at 10:16 in the morning on highway 24, 3.7 miles west of Clay Center.
    According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, Eldon Hartley was driving a 1998 Ford Explorer eastbound on highway 24 and went off the roadway. The vehicle entered the south ditch, came back onto the roadway, entered the south ditch again, and rolled multiple times, coming to rest on its wheel facing north.
    Two other passengers in the vehicle were taken to the Salina Regional Health Center. They were identified as  Gloria Hartley, 69, and Triton Meyers, 3, also of Miltonvale. Only the child had a safety restraint on.
