    Kimball Avenue Construction

    0
By KMAN Staff on August 10, 2015 Local News, Manhattan, Riley County, Top Story

    kimball-8-15

Beginning this week, lane changes will occur on Kimball Avenue for both eastbound and westbound traffic near the Denison Avenue intersection.

    Eastbound traffic
Both lanes of traffic will be maintained but shifted to the south to allow for a westbound truck turn lane into the NBAF construction site. This will be a temporary shift for the large number of trucks accessing the NBAF site during the next few months.

    Westbound traffic
The two westbound lanes will be reduced to one just before the Denison Avenue intersection to facilitate the construction of a driveway on the north side of Kimball. This lane reduction is expected to last one week. When complete, westbound traffic will return to two lanes.

Motorists are asked to drive slowly, obey all posted traffic control signs and use caution around these lane changes and work zones.
