    Police in Riley County are looking for a Watercraft/Starcraft boat valued at approximately $6,500 belonging to Tyler Herrington, 24, of Manhattan. The boat and its trailer were taken from the 300 block of Hunter Place in Manhattan by an unknown subject(s) while parked and unattended in an apartment complex parking lot.
     If you have information about this crime officers ask that you contact the Riley County Police Department or the Manhattan Riley County Crime Stoppers.

    Officers with the Riley County Police Department filed a report for burglary near the intersection of Kimball Avenue and Vanesta in Manhattan. Police on the scene found that Wallace Electric LLC had approximately $5,000 worth of power tools removed from a job site. The new location for the Old Chicago Restaurant is in that area.
    Police continue to investigate the matter and no arrests had been made at the time of this report.

    A report for criminal damage to property and arson was filed in the 500 block of Osage Street in Manhattan on Tuesday at approximately 8:20 AM for an incident that occurred shortly before. Enterprise Leasing from Kansas City, Missouri and an unidentified 38-year-old male became the victim of these crimes when a pair of shoes was ignited creating a very small fire. Also reportedly damaged by scratching was an SUV.

    The total estimated loss was approximately $1,600 and currently officers are investigating the crimes.
