A Black Hawk had to make what’s being called a precautionary landing Wednesday night.
U-S Army Public Affairs reports that at approximately 9:15 p.m. a UH-60 Black Hawk made a precautionary landing in a field about 5 miles south of Fort Riley. None of the four crew members were injured.
The Black Hawk crew is from the 1st Combat Aviation Brigade, 1st Infantry Division and was on a training mission.
The incident is under investigation.
