MANHATTAN, KAN. – During the evening hours of September 4, 2015 into the early morning hours of September 5, 2015 the Riley County Police Department conducted a DUI Saturation Patrol aimed at removing impaired drivers from the road.
During the course of the saturation patrol the five officers assigned made 44 traffic stops, evaluated six drivers for impairment, and made two arrests for DUI. Additionally one driver was cited for Driving While Suspended and two drivers were cited for Driving Without a Driver’s License.
The Riley County Police Department would like to thank the Kansas Department of Transportation as a traffic safety grant funded this Saturation Patrol.
