Congressman Tim Huelskamp (KS-01) released the following statement on Speaker John Boehner’s resignation:
“We are long overdue for new leadership in Congress. Instead of ignoring and attacking conservatives, it is time that Washington Republicans start standing for the conservative principles they promised to defend in their campaigns. When Republicans stand unified and fight on these conservative principles, we win. When they surrender the power over the purse to President Obama, Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi, the American people lose.”
