    Earlier report:

Kansas State University has issued a campus advisory with a possible armed suspect last seen on the south side of the Manhattan campus. The individual is described as a light skinned black male wearing  a dirty white shirt and shorts. Campus residents are being advised to shelter in place until further information is provided.

Officers are continuing to search and campus residents are being advised to stay inside and lock their doors.

Major Don Stubbings with K-State Police confirmed the advisory saying only that they were advised of an armed suspect off campus that came onto campus. Jeff Morris, Vice President Communications and Marketing at K-State, hoped to have more information soon. A decision had not yet been made regarding classes Friday.
