HUTCHINSON, Kan. (AP) A woman has been arrested in connection to the death of a Hutchinson woman whose body was found in a creek bed in Reno County.
According to the Reno County Sheriff’s Office, a 27-year-old woman was arrested Wednesday afternoon. Authorities say the body of 38-year-old Mary Ann Arnett was found June 22 in a shallow creek south of Nickerson.
The suspect faces charges of first-degree murder and conspiracy to commit first-degree murder. She is being held in the Reno County Correctional Facility on a bond of $500,000.
