RCPD 6-15
Riley County Police are investigating a reported aggravated kidnapping which allegedly took place in the 300 block of North Sunset Avenue in Manhattan Tuesday afternoon at approximately 2:45. Police were informed of an incident involving a 16-year-old male victim who was taken in a vehicle and later dropped off near the Sunset Zoo by several unknown males.
The victim was in possession of a backpack that was taken and items listed as stolen were the backpack with cologne and various binders. The investigation is ongoing at the time of this report.

$13,000 worth of tools were reportedly taken from All American Garage of Wamego. According to Riley County Police the tools were located in a trailer that was entered by an unknown subject(s).
It is unclear at this time what location the trailer was in at the time of this crime. If you have information about this crime you’re asked to contact RCPD directly or send tips to the Manhattan Riley County Crime Stoppers.

Police in Riley County are investigating a report of burglary to a motor vehicle in the 700 block of Osage Street in Manhattan. Police say the crime occurred at about 11:00 PM Tuesday and involved military issued clothing valued at approximately $2,400.

Autumn Horton, 35, of Manhattan is the alleged victim. with unknown subject(s) entering her vehicle and removing items without her permission. If you have information on this crime you’re asked to contact the Manhattan Riley County Crime Stoppers.
