    RCPD vehicles (better) 6-15

    The Riley County Police Department responded to an Aggravated Criminal Sodomy report Tuesday morning which allegedly occurred in the northeast portion of Manhattan. The incident involved an 11-year-old male suspect and 6-year-old male victim who are related to one another. The case continues to be under investigation.

    Riley County Police are investigating a stolen vehicle report from Tuesday morning, with the vehicle taken from the 5000 block of Murray Road in Manhattan.  Travis Belville, 22, of Manhattan reported his 1999 Pontiac Grand Prix valued at approximately $2,500 had been taken without his permission sometime during the previous night.
    The vehicle was discovered abandoned in the ditch by RCPD officers in the 5600 block of Skyway Drive in Manhattan. There are no known suspects and the case continues to be under investigation.

    The Riley County Police Department responded at about 9:03 a.m. Tuesday to a report of a burglary to a vehicle in the 4800 block of Skyway Drive.  Christopher Browne, 58, of Olsburg reported a firearm valued at approximately $1,200 had been taken from his vehicle while it was parked and unattended. No arrests have been made at the time of this report, however the case is still under investigation.
