A Silver Lake man has been bound over on charges relating to a head-on collision near Wamego last fall that left two men injured. Cameron Renfro faces an October 16th arraignment on the aggravated battery while driving under the influence charge.
As KMAN reported last October, Renfro and Jeffrey Fisher of Wamego were life flighted following the accident on Highway 24 east of Wamego. Renfro and Fisher were the drivers in the head-on collision and were trapped and had to be extricted from the pickup and car that collided. A portion of Highway 24 was closed for several hours following that early morning accident October fifth.
Fisher has reportedly been in a wheelchair since the accident and Renfro lost an arm as a result of the accident.
