A couple of status hearings were set in Geary County Court recently–including a December 22nd date for Richard Tilton, who faces charges of aggravated indecent liberties and sexual exploitation of a child charges. Manufacturing child pornography is reportedly involved, as part of a multi-jurisdictional investigation, with at least four counties.  Tilton was arrested in September.
And a December eighth status hearing was set Thursday for Scott Wayne Aldrich Jr., 28, who was arrested last month for aggravated battery and criminal use of explosives. Aldrich was taken into custody after the Geary County Sheriff’s Investigations Division found Mark Ayers, 25, had sustained major injuries to his lower extremities as a result of a blast made by a home-made explosive device. Ayers was transported by Life Star to the Salina Regional Health Center.
