    Alto Johns, 44, of Topeka, Kansas was arrested while at the Riley County Police Department on November 19, 2015 at approximately 5:20 PM. Johns was arrested on a warrant from Riley County for the offense of failure to appear. The original offense listed on this warrant was motion to revoke parole for the offense of driving while suspended. He was given “no bond” and at the time of this report was confined at the Riley County Jail.

    RCPD is investigating a report of burglary to a home in the 1300 block of Knox Lane in Manhattan. Police found that David Detweiller, 20, of Manhattan became the victim of this crime when several thousand dollars worth of US currency was removed from his home without his permission. Currently no arrests have been made, however, officers are investigating leads. The home was unsecured at the time of this crime which occurred on November 19, 2015 between 5:30 AM and 2:20 PM.

    A vehicle burglary occurred in the 800 block of Yuma Street in Manhattan between November 17, 2015 and November 19, 2015. RCPD listed Kenneth Guye, 50, of Manhattan as the victim of this crime after approximately $1,500.00 worth of stereo equipment was removed from his vehicle. The vehicle was unsecured at the time of this crime. Currently suspect(s) are unknown and police ask that anyone with information on this crime contact the Manhattan Riley County Crime Stoppers.

    A report for aggravated assault and domestic battery was filed in the city limits of Manhattan, Kansas on November 19, 2015 for a crime which occurred at approximately 7:15 PM. Officers responded to a report of a verbal argument which turned physical leading one party to brandish a loaded shotgun. There were no significant injuries reported. The victims of this investigation are listed as three 20-year-old men and the suspect is listed as a 190year-old male. Due to the domestic nature of this crime no further victim or location information has been released. At the time of this report officers continued to investigate the matter and had made no arrests.
