    Burglary suspect arrested

    A possible burglary suspect Riley county Police had been looking for since last Friday has been apprehended.  Barrett Stokes, 20, was taken into custody with the assistance of the Pottawatomie County Sheriff’s Department. As KMAN announced last Friday the Riley County Police Department responded to multiple vehicle burglaries recently and a news release was issued with potential suspect information regarding
    At the time of the release police stated that Stokes should also be considered potentially armed and dangerous.
    This week with the assistance of the Pottawatomie County Sheriff’s Office, Wamego Police Department and tips from the community Stokes was apprehended in Wamego at about noon Tuesday. More information is expected about that arrest later Wednesday.
