Pottawatomie County Register of Deeds, Betty Abitz filed for re-election Monday.
“I’ve been in the office for around 22 years and I love my job,” Abitz said, “the staff I have is wonderful.”
Abitz has witnessed big changes in the county over the years.
“Our county is growing, and we have so many more documents than we ever have that it keeps everybody busy in the office, which keeps it exciting.”
Abitz said she very much appreciates the opportunity to serve Pottawatomie County and would to continue her work with another term.
