    Wabaunsee County burglary arrests

    Wabaunsee County SheriffThree people  have been arrested in Wabaunsee County following an investigation of recent burglaries, with several thousand dollars worth of items recovered.
    The arrests of 21 year old Dale Higginbotham, 27 year old Justin Goodspeed and a juvenile were made following the execution of two search warrants in Eskridge. Higginbothom and Goodspeed are both of Eskridge. Each face multiple counts of burglary, possession of stolen property, and contributing to a child’s misconduct, with Goodspeed’s bond set at $30,000, and Higginbothoms’ at $10,000. Goodspeed also has an additional warrant for failure to appear. The juvenile was released to parents.
    As a result of the arrest, various items were recovered including a 2014 Polaris ATV taken from a Harveyville area residence, a handgun taken from a residence on Turkey Creek Road, and other hunting equipment, power tools, hand tools, scrap metal and electric motors.
