A winter storm remains on track to impact most of northeast Kansas this evening through Monday evening. Expect a mix of snow, sleet, freezing rain, and rain across the area with significant accumulation possible. The exact snow and ice amounts may be heavily influenced by small details of the forecast…with significant accumulations of sleet possible as well which can reduce snow totals. Travel will become very difficult and hazardous on Monday.

A Winter Storm Warning is in effect for the entire KMAN listening area until 9 p.m. CST Monday.

Check back with News Radio KMAN for the latest updates on the weather and also check the closings and cancellations page for events that could be affected by the weather.
