    The Riley County Police Department arrested Petra Amaro, 37, of Topeka, on January 22, 2016, at approximately 3:15 p.m. while at the Riley County Law Enforcement Center. Amaro was arrested on the offenses of possession of a hallucinogenic drug, possession of an opiate, opium, or narcotic drug, and interference with law enforcement. He was also arrested on the offenses of driving while suspended and violation of the offender registration act. These offenses were listed on two warrants from Riley County, Kansas. Amaro was given a total bond of $15,000.

    Edward Williams, 29, of Manhattan, was arrested on the offense of probation violation on January 22, 2016, at approximately 2:00  while in the 100 block of Courthouse Plaza in Manhattan. Williams had an original offense of driving while suspended, domestic battery, and intimidation of a witness. Bond was set at $8,000.
