    RCPDReportPolice arrested Robert Weixelman, 35, of Manhattan, on Thursday evening at approximately 10:00 p.m. on the offenses of violation of a protection order and stalking. This arrest stems from actions violating a court order which occurred on the afternoon prior to the arrest in the 600 block of Osage St. Bond was set at $10,000.


    An Ogden woman was arrested on Thursday morning for attempted burglary and theft. 26-year old Tara Sotkovski was arrested while in the 200 block of 12th St. in Ogden shortly after 10 a.m. Sotkovski was arrested on a warrant for the offenses of attempted aggravated burglary and theft. These crimes were listed on a warrant originating in Shawnee County and the warrant carried “no bond.”


    Riley County Police arrested Vinnette Morgan, 23, of Topeka, on two warrants for the offense of failure to appear. Morgan’s original offenses included trafficking contraband into a correctional facility and motion to revoke parole for the offense of driving without liability insurance and driving while license was revoked as a habitual violator. Her bond was set at $8,000.


    Officers with the Riley County Police Department are investigating injuries that an adult male sustained in the north central portion of Manhattan. These injuries were consistent with those of a cutting instrument and appear to be a result of an isolated incident, they were not life-threatening. Officials do not believe that the surrounding community is at risk of danger. At the time of this report information available to release was limited.
