    Arrests in Wamego robbery

    Two arrests have been made in connection with a previously reported  armed robbery in Wamego on April 29th 2016 at the Red Raider Express on Spruce Street.
    This Tuesday, Alec Pierson, 18, from Belvue and James Krauz, 19, from Wamego were arrested without incident. The arrests were a result of an ongoing investigation that was aided by tips provided from the public. Two search warrants were served regarding this incident. The case will be forwarded to the Pottawatomie County Attorney for review.Officers from the Wamego Police Department were assisted by deputies from the Pottawatomie County Sheriff’s Office. As this is an ongoing investigation, anyone with information is encouraged to contact the Wamego Police Department at 456-9553 or the Kansas Bureau of Investigation at 800-KSCRIME (800-572-7463.)
