    RCPDReportAn arrest was made in the 100 block of E. Poyntz Ave. and caused Courtney Vieyra, 30, of Junction City, Kansas to become confined. Vieyra was arrested on the offenses of aggravated failure to appear (listed on a warrant from Riley County) and failure to appear (listed on a warrant from Ogden, Kansas). Also arrested on May 18, 2016 at approximately 7:30 AM was Billy Womack, 31, of Ogden, Kansas. Womack was arrested on offenses unrelated to Vieyra which included distribution of a stimulant, possession of opiates, opium, or narcotic drugs, unlawful possession of marijuana, use or possession with intent to use drug paraphernalia (X2), endangering a child, and criminal use of weapons. He was given a bond of $17,000.00 and at the time of this report was also confined at the Riley County Jail.


    On May 18, 2016 at approximately 5:00 PM police in Riley County arrested Michaela Pope, 27, of Manhattan while in the 400 block of Fort Riley Blvd. Police arrested Pope on the offenses of distribution of opiates, opium, or narcotics drugs, possession of a hallucinogenic drug, and use or possession with intent to use drug paraphernalia. She was given a bond of $10,000.00 and at the time of this report was no longer confined at the Riley County Jail. This arrest stemmed from a traffic stop where a police K9 was utilized.
