Academy Sports + Outdoors will open a 63,000 square foot retail location in Manhattan.
The retailer announced in a press release Wednesday that the new store will be located on Poyntz Ave. and Sarber Ln. The store is scheduled to open next year and Academy hopes to bring 100 jobs to Manhattan.
Academy Sports and Outdoors sells a variety of sporting and outdoor lifestyle equipment including licensed team apparel, barbecue grills and hunting and fishing equipment.
