RCPD BadgeOfficers with the Riley County Police Department arrested Aaron Finch, 29, of Manhattan while in the 1700 block of Ranser Road on Thursday Aug. 4 at approximately 3:30 PM. Finch was arrested on the offense of criminal damage to property which was listed on a warrant with “no bond.” At the time of this report Finch was confined at the Riley County Jail.

Andre Quinton Jr., 33, of Topeka, Kansas was arrested while at the Riley County Police Department on Thursday at approximately 2:25 PM. Quinton was arrested on the offense of failure to appear with an original offense of distribution of heroin or certain stimulants. He was given a bond of $100,000 and at the time of this report was confined at the Riley County Jail. As previously reported by KMAN,  Quinton was arrested in July of 2015 for a long list of drug related offenses including intent to distribute within 1000 feet of a school, possession of narcotics, and domestic battery. Quinton then submitted an agreement resulting in him serving 74 months and paying ten thousand dollars. He requested sentencing for spring of this year to spend time with his family but as stated in this report, apparently failed to appear.

Police and emergency crews responded to the area of Green Randolph Road and Wieters Road in Riley County on Thursday at approximately 3:35 PM for a report of a dump truck that had overturned. This incident was reported as being caused by a blown tire and caused the driver to receive injury. Riley County EMS transported Robert Lee, 64, of Clay Center, Kansas to a medical care facility for injuries to his head, arm, and side. Due to the availability of the police report at the time of this publication no further information was available to release.
