A St. George man has died from injuries suffered in an accident on Kimball Avenue in Manhattan on Sept. 12, according to newly released information from the Riley County Police Department.
Lawrence C. Rogers, Jr., 52, was the driver of van in a head-on collision with a passenger car on Kimball, just east of the Manhattan Fire Department Headquarters on the intersection of Kimball and Denison.
The area was shut down for much of the afternoon and both he and the driver of the passenger car, 52-year-old Lisa Curtright of Manhattan, required Life Star helicopter transportation to hospitals out of Manhattan following the wreck.
Curtright sustained severe injuries and a Go Fund Me page has been set up by her sister to help with medical expenses.
The RCPD said it will continue to investigate the accident.
