The investigation continues into a fatal shooting in Clay County Sunday. Janel Wright, 33, of Clay County died Sunday afternoon from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound, reported earlier in the day.
A news release from Clay County Sheriff Chuck Dunn indicates emergency services were called to 1541 Broughton Road at 8:53 a.m. Sunday. Wright was flown from the scene to Salina Regional Hospital, but died later that afternoon.
