A 55-year-old homeless man was arrested Friday.  Crockett McElhaney was arrested on the offense of probation violation which was listed on a warrant from Shawnee County. He was given “no bond”.

Police arrested 22-year-old Joseph McDonald, of Manhattan, Saturday.  McDonald was arrested on three offenses of failure to appear which were listed on warrants with original offenses of driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs as well as criminal damage to property. McDonald was given a total bond of $15,000.00.

A 21-year-old female was the victim of both battery and sexual battery in Manhattan early Sunday morning.  RCPD was told that 3 black males with dark complexion approached the victim and knocked her to the ground. Police noted in the report that 1 of these males pulled her pants but fled the scene when a bystander yelled in their direction. Currently, police are seeking information on this crime and these 3 unknown male suspects and ask that anyone with information contact RCPD or the Manhattan Riley County Crime Stoppers.
