A number of arrests occurred over the past few days.

Firstly, a 35-year-old Blue Rapids woman was apprehended Friday.  Debra Schrater was arrested in Blue Rapids, on a warrant for extradition with “no bond” from Ogden, Utah.

RCPD arrested 37-year-old Chad Russell Saturday.  The Manhattan man was located in the 900 block of Hayes Drive and charged with the offense of probation violation, which was listed on a warrant with a bond of $10,000.00. The original offense on this warrant was possession of methamphetamine.

Officers with the Riley County Police Department are also investigating an aggravated robbery in the 900 block of Bluemont Ave. which occurred Saturday night. Officers found that 22-year-old Kaung Naing, of Manhattan, was approached by 3 unknown males while he was sitting on the back porch of a residence. One of these unknown male suspects struck Naing in the face several times and then took a phone, wallet, and keys. The total estimated loss was listed as $800.00.  Currently no arrests have been made.
